Hugh Christiansen serves as our manager of operations for both of the Dallas Data Center facilities. His experience includes implementing and supporting Microsoft server and Exchange environments as well as implementing virtualization platforms including Citrix XenServer, VMware, and Hyper-V. In addition, he has experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures, maintaining corporate back-up, maintaining antivirus solutions, and planning disaster recovery.
Hugh has been with the company for more than 14 years and in the IT industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining the Dallas Data Center, Hugh served six years in the U.S. Army where he specialized in satellite communication systems and electronics repair, requiring extensive troubleshooting skills. His training for this area accelerated the equivalent of a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering degree into a 12-month period.
He has extensive experience setting IT policy and direction for companies, designing and implementing network infrastructures, directories, and messaging solutions using various products including Microsoft and Linux.
Scott Pruiett serves as a systems and network engineer for our company and has a 14-year background in information technology and communications. Scott is a key member of our group and has been with the company for three years.
Scott got his start in information technology and communications while serving in the Army for four years from 1998 to 2002. While there, Scott trained as a MOS 31R – multi-channel transmission systems operator, setting up line-of-site and tropospheric communications for the military. After serving in the military, Scott was able to attend college and complete his two degrees and currently holds two Associate of Applied Sciences degrees in telecommunications and computer information technology.
Along with these degrees, Scott was also able to participate in the Cisco Networking Academy where he obtained his CCNA certification, which he has maintained for six years. After completing the CCNA Certification, Scott worked as a contractor for SBC/ATT setting up business Internet circuits and implementing network policies.
Following that stint he worked for three years as a Department of Defense independent contractor, where he was deployed to Iraq and Germany, performing IT functions for Consolidated Resource Imaging. There he set up and maintained a Windows/Linux Server cluster while also designing and maintaining the core networking for the systems.
